Amy has been a practitioner of Natural Medicine since 2002 beginning with a Diploma in Reflexology and becoming a practicing Acupuncturist in 2005. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree from UTS in Health Science specialising in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2004. Amy also obtained an advanced Certification of TCM visiting the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing in 2004. She has been a long time member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association as well as the government regulatory board AHPRA.

Clients tend to seek out Amy as their preferred practitioner due to her care and attention for each and every client.

The plan of action and direction of healing is always agreed upon by both Amy and patient and is discussed openly and in a caring and safe environment, the healing journey is taken together.

Whilst Amy enjoys treating a wide variety of health conditions with Chinese Medicine, her special area of interest is hormonal disorders and infertility in both men and women. This has been a long-time passion and Amy has assisted hundreds of couples and singles to fulfill their desire to have a child. Clients who have worked with Amy in the past often return to help conceive a second or even third or fourth child, having found her approach effective and therapeutic but also relaxing and nurturing during what can be quite a stressful time.

Amy’s treatments not only help address potential fertility imbalances she also assists her patients with continued health during pregnancy through to birth and postpartum care when needed. Nothing gives her greater happiness and joy than to do this work.

Working with fertility patients has also led to another keen area of interest for Amy, using Chinese Medicine for children. Paediatric Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to help treat a variety of conditions in babies and children to adolescent concerns.

In her spare time Amy has a fascination with studying traditional cultures and medicines, this began with Chinese Medicine. Over the years she has immersed herself in learning healing techniques from Native American, Celtic, Central and South American medicines to incorporate into her treatments. This love of culture and medicine led Amy to train as a Shamanic Practitioner completing her studies in 2019. Shamanic medicine has become increasingly important in Amy’s clinical practice, in order to address healing not just on the mind, body & spirit level but also the level of the soul.
